  The 418 Project on 418 Front St. Santa Cruz presents “Raices Flamencas”, a gustatory, dance and musical journey.
  
  The 418 Project brings accomplished local and Bay Area artists from the various traditions of the Flamenco roots for you to relive the flamenco story and witness flamenco growing to a borderless future.
  
  Featuring Ladino singer, Kat Parra; Odissi - Classical Indian dancer, Revital Carroll; Moroccan musicians, Fattah Abbou and Mohamed Aoualou from the band Aza; and Rubina Valenzuela’s Flamenco Sin Fronteras with Diana Alejandre and Ricardo Diaz. Matching culinary delights by India Joze.

Private, Semi-Private, and group classes in Odissi and Shakti Yoga are currently offered.

A list of standard workshops

My unique method of teaching Odissi Dance is based in Yogic alignment, and is honoring of the ancient root of Odissi; Tantric Yoga, Martial Arts, Spiritual Cultivation, Drama, and harmony of movements.

Classes include traditional and innovative exercises, conditioning and preparing the whole body and mind for a graceful and powerful movement.

For learning Odissi choreography, private classes or intensive focused workshops are recommended. Contact me to design and schedule your own custom program.
